Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
As some of you will know I (Alison) recently underwent weight loss surgery and am in the process of losing weight. I wanted a goal to aim for to keep up the momentum and decided to do a sponsored bike ride, but not just any old bike ride! We shall be cycling from Saigon in Vietnam to Angkar Wat in Cambodia, a total of 400 km, in November/December 2011 in aid of the Women for Women charity, a charity that raises funds for the research into problems with fertility, pregnancy, childbirth and premature babies (www.women-for-women.org) an appropriate charity for a midwife I think! I managed to twist the arm of my good friend Joanne Matheson to join me and in a moment of weakness she agreed!!!
We need to raise at least £6200 between the two of us to do the ride and hope that you will be able to help us to achieve our goal. Please, please help us and pass this message onto all your friends so that they can help us too, the more we raise the more we can help our charity.
