I have been lucky (others may disagree with this 😂)to be given a charity place for the London Landmarks Half Marathon in March 2019 for Mind, this is by far the hardest challenge I have set myself and the people that know me will know I’ve not done much exercise for a few years now!!...running for a bus is a struggle lol!

I decided to take this challenge on for a number of reasons, one being that after the sad news of two young local lads that I knew of both took their own lives during 2018 I wanted to do something positive to maybe prevent any further wasted lives and the work Mind do will help people like these lads in the future.

I have suffered with mental health in the past and know many people that too have suffered and will know how dark life can be and the amazing work Mind do to make sure no one has to suffer alone. They need the funding to make sure they can be there, on the end of the phone, in local communities and campaigning hard for better services and support.
