Geoffrey had a stroke on 22.10.10 and was cared for by the fantastic staff at the Leeds General Infirmary. Vera and her daughters were also supported during his illness by the nurses from the Stroke Association which is why we have chosen this charity. They provide support and practical information to people who have had a stroke and their families and carers.
