Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The staff of Shenanigans (Bryan, Erin, Elliot, Perry, Amanda, Darren and myself) along with my mum and Scott are entering 3 teams to take part in Race 21 on the 9th of March to help raise money for Down's Syndrome Scotland. Teams of 3 people are linked together with coloured rope over a 1 mile course that includes 7 checkpoints.

Down's Syndrome is caused by an extra copy of chromosome 21 meaning that each person with Down's Syndrome has 3 copies of chromosome 21. This is reason for the name Race 21 and for the teams of 3.

Down’s Syndrome Scotland works to improve the quality of life for everyone in Scotland with Down’s syndrome and their families.

The event takes place on Sunday 9th March at 10am at Rouken Glen Park. We would greatly appreciate any donations you could make, no matter how small. Anyone who wishes to come along and support us on the day would also be greatly appreciated!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
