Story

On Sunday 23rd April I'm going to be running the TCS London Marathon for the UCLH Cancer Fund!

Over 14,000 people every year from across the UK are treated for cancer at University College Hospital, and this number is rising annually.

University College Hospital aims to ensure that all people with cancer, and their families and carers receive a world-class service from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

The UCLH Cancer Fund supports patient care projects, contributes towards the purchasing of medical equipment, invests in pioneering clinical research, and supports staff development and training too.

Since joining the Trust in May 2022, I have been fortunate to witness some of these fantastic initiatives.

At a time where operational and clinical pressures on the NHS have never been greater, raising money for UCLH Charity and supporting our staff, patients and their families at a time where it is very much needed is opportunity which I am very priviledged to have.

I would be so grateful for your contribution!

Thanks

Alice
