Story
This April, I will be embarking on a 2000km cycling expedition from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh through a range of different terrains (eeek bring on the mountains) alongside 19 other riders!! We are raising money on behalf of an amazing group of charities which aim to ensure that all Vietnamese children have access to education, healthcare and vocational training so that they are able to unlock their full potential in life.
Since my recent move to Vietnam, I have been touched by the kindness and hospitality of the Vietnamese people. In my capacity as an English teacher, I have meet some wonderful children and it pains me that not all kids are given the same start and opportunities in life. Although Vietnam is developing rapidly, poverty and inequality remain rife. This is therefore my way of giving back to this great country.
100% of donations made go to the charities that we sponsor, as all participation expenses are paid for by the riders. You can learn more about the involved NGOs below. Thanks for taking the time to visit my page and for any donations- it is much appreciated!
