Thank you for visiting our page in memory of Marie. It is here that we are asking for donations instead of flowers for The Christie. 

Marie was the bravest woman we know and fought her hardest against this awful disease right up until the end. On Sunday 30th July, Marie was finally able to stop fighting and passed away peacefully.

Throughout her life Marie put her girls, her family and her friends first. The most generous, caring and loving woman we know. We have seen this through the lovely memories and kind words people have been sharing with us since she passed away.

Marie had an amazing career with The Christie spanning 20 years and often referred to her team there as her second family. She was a passionate - and apparently quite formidable - force at The Christie and this passion only grew when she was on the other side of their excellent care all the way through to the end. We know it would mean much more to her to remember her in the form of donations to this excellent cause rather than flowers.
