My Story:
Over a few long weekends at university over the last year my friend Hannah and I talked about a trip to the top of Kilimanjaro. Inspired by the comic relief climb (assuming I would also be accompanied by a team of porters, physios and medical staff) and safe in the knowledge, if Chris Moyles can do it anyone can, we booked our climb.
After buying my first ever pair of walking boots (the guy in Taunton Leisure seemed very concerned) I am now dedicating my time to a strict training regime!
I hope to make it to the summit (altitude sickness permitting) and would be really grateful for any sponsorship to make the journey a worth while one.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is an amazing charity, working to improve the day to day lives of people with CF and quite fitting for the climb as I get to experience for a few days what it is like to live with a little less oxygen.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life.
