Story

As medical students, both Craig and I have seen the devastating effects of mental health problems on patients.

Throughout our training, we've come to learn that there is great prejudice and stigma towards those affected.

Through the work of 'mind' we can help change attitudes and beliefs of the public so that mental health issues are not just ignored or feared but actively managed and helped

I'm running the Brighton Marathon on the 6th of April and then taking part in the London to Brighton Challenge 100km, a gruelling endurance test to walk the full 62 miles in less than 30 hours.

Training for both events has been tough in such terrible weather and when I signed up I never thought i'd see myself sporting a pair of running tights. It's happened though and we're running through the wind and rain as much as possible. So when you're donating (thank you) please think about the amount of training that we're doing, as by the time we get to the event, it'll be the icing on a very cold, wet and tiring cake.

Thanks for your time!
