Story
After Daniel's death, on way to join me at TSG2 for a demo, Sandi and I went to a memorial service at the National Memorial Arboretum, organised by http://ukcops.org There, we first met many of our fellow 'survivors'.
I can't accurately describe what its like to be in the company of people who have been through what we've been through and walked in our steps, but , with other survivors there's an atmosphere in which, we are comfortable, in a way we simply cannot with those who aren't now living through a similar heartache to the loss of our beloved Dan.
http://ukcops.org - a help group at any time of the day/night but more. The charity brings 'survivors' together for on a variety of separate days, spouses/partners, parents, siblings and of course especially the children who have lost mum or dad on duty.
C.O.P.S. is so much more than I can give credit here. The survivors list grows. The Manchester shootings last year, the Helicopter in Glasgow just before Christmas.
So Sandi (still learning to ride a bike) & I are commited to the tour in July, from The Mall to the annual memorial service at the National Arboretum, Staffs
