This summer, I am travelling to Manorom, Thailand to volunteer for CCD (Christian Care Foundation), this charity is in partnership with For Life.

Due to various economic and cultural reasons, Disabled children in Thailand are often abandoned, and stigmatising is a huge problem. Due to religious reasons, many people still believe that when a child is born with disabilities, this is a punishment from God for mistakes made in a previous life.

CCD aims to care for and support abandoned children with various disabilities ranging from Cerebal Palsey and autism to cleft palate.

Whilst in Thailand, I will be working alongside the CCD staff at their day care centres and orphanages, running activities for the children there. CCD's work makes a HUGE difference to these amazing children's lives.

The money donated will go directly to the For life charity, and help to improve the quality of lives of these children. Any donation, no matter how big or small can make a real difference in helping these children reach their full potential and enjoy life.
