In February 2014 I will volunteer for 10 weeks on a development programme in Tanzania.

This is part of the International Citizen Service (ICS), which brings young people together to fight poverty and make a difference where it is needed most.  I'll be working alongside volunteers from Tanzania on a project that aims to address issues of housing, saniation, education, healthcarea and the environment. ICS works with communties that have specifically requested their help. ICS aims to inspire young people in the UK and overseas to become active citizens who are passionate about long term community development. 

I need to raise £800 for Raleigh International who are one of the respected development agencies that deliver ICS. This money will not go directly to buy things for my project but will allow Raleigh International to continue to bring about positive change in the developing communities where they work.
