We're climbing Mount Kilimanjaro as part of our wedding & honeymoon - it's a real challenge and we chose to link with fundraising for a special cause that's close to our heart, and make our Kilimanjaro climb count.

Four Paws’ goal of their national and international projects is to provide direct assistance to animals in need. Their team rescues animals and rehomes them in their sanctuaries, where they can recover in a natural environment. At the same time, they aim to improve the political climate for animal welfare and prevent animal suffering in the future.

Bears
Dancing bears, circus bears and other bears in private captivity suffer greatly. FOUR PAWS has four sanctuaries, in which several bears have found a home for life. They founded and run sanctuaries in Austria, Bulgaria, Germany and Ukraine.  

Lions
The appalling conditions which some captive big cats are forced to endure led to the opening of LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary in South Africa. Rescued big cats are given a safe and natural environment where they can spend the rest of their lives.
