This cause is particularly close to my heart, as my father is currently battling terminal cancer and is receiving incredible care at a different hospice facility. Witnessing the dedication, compassion, and support provided by these hospice teams has been both humbling and inspiring. In the face of such challenging circumstances, they create a haven of comfort and dignity for patients and their families. It's a difficult journey for my family, but the care and compassion we've experienced have prompted me to give back in the best way I know how—by hitting the pavement and running for a cause that deserves every bit of recognition and support.
