I will be doing this in memory and honour of my absolute hero and best friend, also known as my Mam who sadly lost her battle to cancer  in November 2016. Unfortunately, my family have been taught just how cruel this horrid horrid disease is and how many innocent lives are taken through cancer. If there is anything good that could have possibly came from this absolute living nightmare to say the least, is that it had made me more determined to do something to get us one step closer to beating this horrible disease to hopefully, in the future, stop at least one family going through the sleepless nights, the heartache and the torture we have had to face. 

1/2 people will be affected in someway, shape or form by cancer, weather that be a family member, a friend or yourself, and that is an absolutely shocking statistic! For everybody who knows me personally, knows I am such a lazy pig and  to complete the GNR will be a miracle! However, I am going to complete this for my Mam, who was a true inspiration and everyone who knew her would agree with me!

So morale of my story is, please please please keep my mams legacy live on and give as generously as you can, every single penny helps and gets us one step closer to beating cancer, in hope that one day, no one will ever have to deal with the pain my family has had to face!
