Casper is walking a marathon in aid of the Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Charity, UNIQUE,  in recognition of the special work they do to support children and families with a rare chromosome or genetic diagnosis.  

His marathon distance is the distance from our home town in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, where so many children and young people with rare disorders receive world leading medical care.  

UNIQUE provides support, information and networking to families affected by rare chromosome and gene disorders.  Their mission is to alleviate the isolation of these diagnoses and provide support and information for anyone affected by this journey.

Casper would love to you to sponsor him on his walk which many of you will know has personal meaning to our family. He will be undertaking his walk in stages (he's only got little legs!!) over the coming weeks and can't wait to get started!
