Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October 2011 I will be climbing the tough and dangerous trail to the top of the highest mountain in North Africa, Mt. Toubkal. However this is not just a fun trip for me! It is of far greater importance. The reason I will be enduring the altitude and harsh conditions is for those that are in need. Alzheimers is a disease which in some way will affect most of us. The Alzheimers Society does great work in improving the lives of those suffering with it and is making ground breaking research in the treatment of the disease. Even the smallest donation makes a difference. So please donate what you can, it really does make a huge difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
