If you have received this link and my heart felt request for support then you must know me pretty well and therefore you will already know that I am always more than happy to support good causes but usually VERY unlikely to commit to something as ridiculous as running the London Marathon. Being completely truthful there is a degree of wanting to motivate myself to get fit but the major reason is that I recently attended a local event organised to raise well-deserved funds for the Rose Road Association. I wasn't particularly aware of Rose Road prior to this but, once I did a bit of research, I discovered that they are a fantastic local charity that support young people with complicated health needs, their families and their carers from their Bradbury Centre in Southampton.
