Pete was an inspirational Chemistry teacher, a talented sportsman, and to many probably the kindest, most humble, and generous friend.

Pete fought Motor Neurone Disease, a cruel and brutal illness that had robbed him of so much, with remarkable courage. He passed away on the 25th May 2022, I will start my ride 12 months later to the day.

My route will travel through England, Scotland and Wales and involve climbing the equivalent of Mt Everest twice.
