Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last Summer my friend Kate and I started to walk the South Downs Way. Our friend Alison joined us with her calm good sense, extreme walking experience and, most importantly, Ordinance Service maps on an app!
We did 36 miles and had a blast. This Easter we're all walking another 38 or so, and this time I want to try and raise some money for a great cause!
This Easter kids on the Kenyan island of Funzi won’t be getting a chocolate egg. But with your help they could be getting real eggs which will stop them suffering from malnutrition. I am fundraising for a fantastic project to build a chicken farm with multiple benefits for poor kids. The eggs provide nutrition and the farm is also used as a place to train them and their parents in agricultural skills so they can feed themselves . The rest of the eggs are sold to raise funds for medicines. It’s a project run by the Funzi and Bodo Trust which is run by volunteers in the Uk so the money gets out to Africa. Let’s make Easter special for these children this year and make sure they all get eggs
