My best friend of 30+ years Carolyn Cole has been diagnosed with breast and lymph cancer, her story is below:-

Having been diagnosed with Lymph and breast Cancer, I soon realised there is very little locally to support cancer patients and their families as most of the free services offered are in Portsmouth. At a time when you have little control over anything, it is nice to think I can go to CancerWise without having to rely on anybody else (yes, I know I'm a control freak!!).

My brave friends are joining me in my transition to baldness with our Hair Off Event at the QE2 pub in Bognor on Sunday 11th Feb 1.00 pm onward. Lots of raffle prizes and haircuts in between!!

CancerWise provides complementary therapies, counselling, regular group meetings and living well courses for cancer patients, their adult family and carers in West Sussex and South East Hampshire. CancerWise provide information, emotional support and practical lifestyle advice , supporting patients through diagnosis, treatment and beyond. CancerWise is not funded by government and rely on donations and fundraising to keep our doors open and services accessible, with our fundraising team constantly working to obtain funds.
