Story
Thanks for visiting the just giving page for our latest adventure. My first four charity walks were with Paul Cross. We walked from Canterbury to Faversham in 2004, Rochester to Rye in 2005 and Rye to Canterbury in 2006. 2008 saw a longer hike with both Paul Cross and Ian Davis from Tunbridge Wells to Brighton, and then in 2010, Ian and I walked the length of the River Medway, about 70 miles. 2012 saw the three peaks challenge, Luckily we were joined by Richard Parkinson, who completed the challenge, as Ian sustained a knackered knee after Skafell Pike and I dropped out on Snowdon. There were, however, great memories. And we raised £1500 for Great Ormond Street.
So far, my various adventures, with three mates have raised in the region of £5000 for various charities, the British Legion, Children In Need, Cancer Research, all worthy causes. Richard will be joining me on this latest adventure. From Tower Bridge to the White Cliffes of Dover. In under three days. 90 miles. The Thames Walk, Part of the Darent Valley Walk, The Medway Valley Walk and The North Downs Way and Pilgrims Way. The whole of Kent. In aid of the Stroke Association, which has effected both our families.
The walk will be on the first weekend in November. Thanks for your ongoing support.
