Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, my name is Alex and I’m running the Manchester 5k Santa run in aid of Mencap. Mencap is a brilliant charity that helps improve the lives of people with learning disabilities through:

 

- Providing support in education.

 - Helpinging people get jobs

 - Providing people with a place of their own to live.

 - Running residential and leisure care serivices

 - Helping the families and carers of people with learning disabilities.

- Offering advice.

 - Lobbying the government to change laws so that more and more people with earning disabilities can have control of their own lives.
