My sister in law Olivia has lived with ME / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for most of her adult life. The pandemic has given all of us a small sense of what it is like to be confined to our homes. I was lucky enough to be able to leave the house to swim at a local beach most days. So I would like to keep that going, and see if I can swim the distance from Belfast to Dublin, 191 kilometers. NOT in one go obviously! But if I can swim 16k in the Irish Sea each month during 2021 I will make the distance. With sea temperatures down to 6 degrees in the winter months this will be a challenge! I would love to raise £1 for every 100m I swim.
