Story
No better way to start my 40th year than doing something I've always wanted to do and seem to have put it off for a number of years, so decided to bite the bullet and go for it.
Also, I am raising money for Beechwood Cancer Care Center, a place that was instrumental in helping me and my family through what was a very hard period in our life when my dad passed away in June 2015. The counselling I received a few years later was significant in helping with my depression, and helps being in a place that makes you feel so welcoming and at ease. My mum also received a huge amount of support from the Centre whilst being a carer for my dad, from a bereavement perspective, and also as a patient when she was diagnosed with cancer a year after my dad passed away. The Centre also helped out with my daughter during these tough times.
The Care Centre is very close to our hearts and this is my way to say a huge thank you for what they provide.
I will update with my progress when my training picks up and the build up to the big day.
Huge thank you to everyone that donates.
