I'm helping to raise money for my friend Lee AKA Litteman (http://www.justgiving.com/littlemanbeardoff) who has, for his sins, managed to get together a group of around 50 people, I say people, we mean mostly men, who are willing to refrain from shaving/trimming facial hair in order to raise some sponsorship money for the Martletts Hospice in Hove. 

Its all in aid of a really good cause and i must say that whilst the itching does subside from time to time, its not really the most comfortable thing do do! As for adding warmth in this cold climate, I'm lacking hair at the moment so any benefits are pretty minimal!

This year the Hospice needs your support more than ever – they’re facing some tough times. They are not part of the NHS - it costs over £4 million a year to run the Hospice. Only £1 million of this comes from government funding. As all their services are provided free of charge, they are reliant on support such as this from the local community. Support from people like you. To continue providing  services they must generate over £3 million of additional funding each year.

Thats where you come in!

Now that we're out of the recession, I'll ask you to dig as deep as you can and lets try to reach our combined target of £5000, between 50 of us, thats about £100 each. As work will also look to double the sponsorship I get for my part your money goes twice as far for the Martletts.

Theres a will also be shooting another promotional video for the men that are willing to have their chest, legs etc waxed for this charity.Its being filmed for promotional purposes and will appear on YouTube, so you may even get your face on there too!
