In the summer of 2023, the Hatters Explorer Scout Unit is delivering a once in a lifetime and life-changing experience for young people in the Himalayas. 

We are delivering an optical project that will give the gift of sight to those who cannot see due to old age, and are based in remote areas. We'll trek and raft in the mountains, sightsee, visit important religious sites, immerse ourselves in local culture, and teach children in remote villages. 

As one part of my fundraising efforts, on Saturday 11th of February, I will be attempting the Southern 50km Challenge, a long-distance race across the Chilterns.
