Afternoon all,

I am taking part in the BUPA Great Manchester 10k run on Sunday 15th May with a couple of my good friends Gavin Kelly & Jimmy Rennard. Not only am I doing this as a personal achievement (running long distance's has never been my thing), I am more importantly looking to raise money for such a fantastic charity - Breast Cancer Care.

Those of you who know me better than most know exactly why i am running on behalf of this charity and on a personal note I know if it wasn't for charities such as this one the awareness of breast cancer would be unbelievably low. The support and information provided by Breast Cancer Care is incredible and i know can make a huge difference to those who are currently being treated for breast cancer or even those worried they may have breast cancer.

So although i may not have spoke to you or seen you in a while this is not about me it is about raising money for such a fantastic cause. So please no matter how large or small the donation every penny counts and i urge you to sponsor me to raise money for such a worthy cause. I'll be putting in £100 myself because thats how much I believe in this charity and the work they do.
