Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Fred is in memory of Fred Whitton, a keen cyclist, who unfortunately passed away prematurely due to cancer. This cruel disease touches most of us and so it seemed fitting to support MacMillan.

To put it into context the Fred is a gruelling 112mile 4000m climb bike ride taking in some of the most fierce mountain passes in the Lakes.

I am entering as part of a 11 strong team with a mix of folk from work and family. I expect most of us will end up in the saddle for about 10 hours which is going to be a real challenge!!

Will post more as I get closer so thanks for reading and dig deep please, as we will have to!!
