We help people with disabilities in Africa to get artificial limbs and limb supports

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Some of you will know the amazing work Olivia has done with 500 Miles(500miles.co.uk ). Olivia is known to many of us in the legal profession as she was a leading lawyer before she devoted all her time to founding and running 500 Miles.

500 Miles aims to help people in Zambia, Zanzibar and Malawi gain mobility through the development and delivery of prosthetic and orthotic services on a long term sustainable basis.

Olivia is a quadruple amputee who has devoted a large part of her life to helping people in Malawi Zambia and Zanzibar who lose their limbs, or the use of their limbs, through accident disease and poverty.

Having grown up ( f I have grown up) all over Africa, and started school at Lusaka Infants in Zambia, I'm only too happy to help 500 Miles and have a go at another marathon.  25 years after my first one, this should be my ninth, and fourth in London. Never having broken four hours for London I'm going to try once more!

Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Alastair
