All the acts taking part in Leicester's first ever Y Factor event, on Thursday 14th March 2013 at the O2 Academy Leicester, are local business people and will be performing to raise money for two great charities; The Lord's Taverners and Mencap.

I'm taking on a classic song from one of the most iconic singers in music history! I hope you are able to sponsor me with whatever amount you feel appropriate. If you intend to come to the show please donate BEFORE you hear me sing! 

All the acts will appreciate your support on the night and it's shaping up to be a great event. It will be fun but it will be competetive - you will be invited to vote for your favourite performance (it doesn't have to be me - it probably WON'T be me!).

The Lord's Taverners is the official charity of recreational cricket and the UK's leading disability sports charity.

Sport and recreation are essential for young people and The Lord's Taverners mission is to give a "sporting chance" to those in need. This is achieved by focusing on youth cricket in disadvantaged areas and sports recreation equipment for young people with disabilities and special needs including; sports wheelchairs, specially adapted mini buses and sensory play areas.

I'm singing with a live band infront of hundreds of people to raise money for two charities; Mencap and The Lord's Taverners. Your donation can help me smash my goal of £1000 and the money is split 50/50 between the two charities.

Every penny counts and all donations go to give young people a sporting chance and support families affected by learning disability.
