Story

Well, the hike is now over!  It was a long day's walking, but the weather was fantastic, cool but bright and visability was very good.  There were 13 of us in the end who took on the challenge and all but two made it to the top and back again under their own steam.

I don't think any of us were expecting quite so many rocks towards the top, nor were we expecting it to be quite so steep, but this was meant to be a challenge after all!

Many thanks to those of you who have donated so far, its most appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I and 13 others from Bravissimo are going to be spending Saturday 15 October trekking upto the summit of Scafell Pike (and Sunday 16 recovering!) in aid of Bravissimo's nominated charity 'Tommys'.

I last scaled Scafell in high school and it was a challenge then.  Fast forward 20 years (plus a bit) and it really will be a challenge so please give generously, although anything that you can spare will be most appreciated by Tommys.
