A penny a kilometre for Mesothelioma UK

I will be walking 100 kilometres in the Trans Pennine Challenge 2013 on June 22nd for Mesothelioma UK.

Nearly 2500 people will die this year in the UK from the asbestos related disease mesothelioma. It is through the work of organisations such as Mesothelioma UK that those with this terrible disease and their families are provided with absolutely vital support.

I will be walking 100 kilometres, but the pain I will endure will be nothing as compared to what mesothelioma victims suffer.

I have called my charity walk 'a penny a kilometre for Mesothelioma UK', because that is all I ask that you consider donating, just £1.

But please pass the details on to your friends. This walk is not about me, it is about supporting the thousands of mesothelioma victims and their familes, and it is about providing greater awareness of this terrible disease.
