CalmDownTom's ThanksGaming Day 2014, 2 May 2014
We fund medical equipment and services to give our children the best possible care

Story

CalmDownTom's ThanksGaming Day is our way of saying thanks to the Yorkhill Childrens Charity. In recognition of their hard work, on May 3rd we're going to play games for 24 hours straight. It may not be a marathon but it will be tough and more importantly it will raise money for a very worthwhile cause. If we can do what we normally do while raising money, why the hell not!

Yorkhill Children’s Charity provides and supports excellence in paediatric, obstetric and neonatal healthcare enhancing the treatment, care and wellbeing of children and their families through The Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill and other hospital and community based services both nationally and internationally.

I personally believe that the care and support for children in need is of the utmost importance. When I was being treated for a broken arm I spoke with one of the staff at the orthopaedic ward. He told me how rewarding his job was for him, being able to treat children with disabilities. I was rather moved by this mans good will. We need people like him, we value their hard work, and I'd like to give a little back.

If you could please donate to this worthwhile cause I would be very grateful and promise not to fall asleep! Any donation no matter how small would be appreciated. Even a pound will go a long way.

Thank you.

24 Hour Gaming Schedule!

League of Legends - The worlds most popular game. I will be setting up a special event for this one. Faction based games! Piltover vs Zaun, Bandle City vs Noxus. Who will prevail?

I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream - A 1995 point and click sc-fi horror game. This will be very unsettling and I'm glad I won't be going to sleep after this one!

Surgeon Simulator - That's right, I will be performing brain surgery on little sleep!

Eurotruck Simulator - A game equal parts ridiculous and strangely entertaining. Just don't expect me to successfully pull off a reverse parking.

Envirobear 2000 - Bear driving car? How can this be? Preparing for hibernation is no easy task in this ridiculous looking game.

If for some unbeknownst reason you would like to view my progress I will be streaming live on Twitch TV. Have a watch!
