Story

ECHLIN SWORD APPEAL   The Royal Dragoon Guards Museum and Association are currently raising funds to buy the Echlin Sword for the Regiment.  This sword was made in 1708, and is engraved with the name of Lieutenant General Robert Echlin, the second Colonel of the Inniskilling Dragoons.  It is the oldest intact regimentally-marked British cavalry sword in existence.    If you would like to help to secure this important piece of our Regimental history, please make a contribution via the DONATE tab opposite, putting "Echlin Sword Appeal" in the Leave a Message box.
