Story

MAN ASKS TO BE SPONSORED FOR DOING SOMETHING HE LIKES (YAWN)....

...BUT HERE'S THE TWIST, I REALLY LOATHE THE 20MILE RUN BIT

Six years ago my son was born with Biliary Atresia and we thought the world had ended. He is now a healthy and overly cheeky schoolboy. This is down to many people and organisations including  our wonderful NHS, Birmingham Children's hospital and the CLDF.

So that we don't bombard our friends and family we haven't done any significant fund raising since 2011 and this year we are looking to raise as much money as possible for the CLDF.

As part of our fundraising we have already had Liz's very successful open garden event.  Now it is time for my effort. It has been six years since a lot of you generously supported me in the JOGLE challenge so I hope you don't mind me asking again.

We (me and a number of friends) are doing the 100k Tour de Yorkshire on the 30th April, followed a week later by the 20 mile full mucker obstacle run at Burghley. It will really hurt and I know I am not universally popular so why not make this something I cannot get out of by donating whatever you can.

Many Thanks
