Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the years I've seen too many friends and loved ones either pass away or be seriously ill as a result of this terrible disease so its time to get on my bike and help raise a bit of awareness and support for Prostate Cancers UK as they continue their work to find prevention and cure. Both my Dad and Uncle have suffered badly from the illness in recent years which means there's a fair chance I'll be on the list too at some point, (a pretty scary thought) and given Dads and my love of football, this seemed like a great opportunity to get involved and hopefully raise a few quid for the cause.

I know that everyone gives huge amounts of money to charities these days, which is brilliant, but i also know that as a consequence it's impossible to donate to everything so every donation regardless of size will be massively appreciated and help put a bit of pedal power in my legs come June 1st.

Thanks so very much and I'll keep you posted with progress as I've just got my bike (Jan 5th) and am ready to roll!
