A Healthy Home for Every Child is a joint initiative between Bromley-based charities Bromley Brighter Beginnings (BBB) and Bromley Relief In Need (BRIN) to improve the lives of children living in poverty in the London Borough of Bromley. The two registered charities have joined forces to ensure parents and carers have the facilities they need within their own homes to be able to provide healthy, nutritious meals for the children in their care.
The project was conceived following the End Child Food Poverty campaign, spearheaded by footballer Marcus Rashford. It is the joint belief of the two charities that providing food to children in need is absolutely essential, but that without the correct facilities to store or cook that food then it may not provide all the benefits that are hoped for. The charities therefore decided to come together to provide appliances such as cookers, fridges, freezers, microwaves, slow cookers and kettles for local families in need.
