We at Yaqeen Academy have pledged to raise £5000 for READ Foundation towards the building  of Bagh City School in Kashmir. 

We attended a fundraising dinner where Sheik Yasir Qadhi was giving a talk on the benefits of investing in your hereafter and one of the best acts that you could do was to invest in providing education for needy children and orphans by investing in a school Inshaa'Allah. This project is Zakat eligible

This project is to help 1,500 children receive a quality education through construction of a school in the Location of  Bagh, AJK . The Duration of the project will be  24 months from start date (dependant on delivery of funds) . The total cost of this project is £ 664,585

The proposal is to educate1,500 underprivileged children, including orphans in a safe and supportive environment through the construction of an infrastructure with quality of education, faculty, physical facilities, curriculum, discipline and extracurricular activities. 

To allow children to build an individual social, emotional and educational base that shall afford them social and professional choices in future challenges and opportunities. To impart poverty relief to the families of the beneficiary children by relieving them of the responsibility of their children’s educational expenses in terms of development needs of the school.

 Construction of building for READ Foundation School shall be completed in 24 months, provided weather conditions and flow of funds remain favourable. 65% of the funds will need to be deposited  in order for the first stage developments to begin.

Updates will be provided from READ Head Office as and when the construction reports are sent from the field in Pakistan.
