We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

On the 18th of January 2016 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour, a non-malignant type known as a Meningioma. Positioned on the front left of my brain, surgery was the only option.

I underwent surgery at St Georges Hospital on 11th February 2016.

One year on from this life changing event I am feeling blessed and grateful for the superheroes ,family and friends in my life.Thank you to the amazing staff at Atkinson Morley Wing,St George's Hospital .

Through sharing my story and recovery journey I hope to raise awareness for the Brain Tumour Charity in the hope that further work can provide the world with a greater understanding of this condition.

Thank you for reading.
