Story
We lost our gorgeous little sister, Hifza, to pneumonia on Friday 5th November 2021. She was 8 years old (with the attitude of an 18 year old!) and had the most beautiful soul. She was clever and quick-witted, and she never missed a trick. Hifza had an incredible personality, and she had a natural ability to bring smiles and laughter to everybody around her. She was kind and deeply caring, and she gave the best cuddles known to man. Hifza wanted to be a doctor when she grew up so that she could help people, and would always be setting aside her toys to give to children who didn't have any. She was truly one of a kind, and we miss her immensely and remember her everyday.
If anybody would like to donate to charity in our little sister's memory, our family have chosen Rosie's Rainbow Fund as the recipients. Rosie's Rainbow Fund (RRF) support seriously ill children in hospitals, schools and in the community. RRF were a huge and constant source of comfort for our mum during extremely stressful hospital stays, and brought tremendous joy to Hifza too. She loved her music therapy sessions, and it was amazing to see her little face light up and watch her momentarily lose herself to the music, in spite of the pain that she may have been in at that moment in time. RRF also provide therapeutic aromatherapy massages for both poorly children and their parents, as well as providing pastoral care to the families of long-stay children and bereavement support after the loss of a child. Their work is incredibly important, and this charity personally meant a lot to Hifza and to our family. If you would like to give, whatever the amount, your donation would be very much appreciated and would help RRF put a smile on the faces of sick children going through distressing periods, just as they did for our beloved Hifza.
