We fundraise for five London hospitals to improve the care given to patients

Story

We are raising money on behalf of our brave and amazing colleague, Sarah Fox-Clark. Sarah has stage four ovarian cancer. When diagnosed, Sarah was told that chemo was the only option as she could die from having surgery. After researching, Sarah found an amazing surgeon in London called Professor Christina Fotopoulou who agreed to do the surgery. Although Sarah’s journey is still ongoing, the surgery was successful in helping to prolong Sarah’s life. Professor Christina Fotopoulou has her own charity researching ovarian cancer and we want to try and raise as much money as possible to help fund the work she is doing.

We will be shaving our heads on the 17th December. Please try and donate what you can so we can continue to fund the research which has enabled them to treat our incredible colleague Sarah.

Imperial Health Charity helps our hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising. We fund major redevelopments, clinical research and medical equipment as well as helping patients and their families at times of extreme financial difficulty. We raise funds to support the five hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust: Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea, St Mary and Western Eye hospitals.
