Apart from Lucie the 'rock' who has not only been training with me but also endured the Ashby 20 and 2 half marathons, I also want to mention my 'manager' Dave who has put up me and my trainers over the past few months in a BIG way. Thanks too to Fi who's met me at 6.30am many times for a run and debrief then raced 2 half marathons with me. To Tina and Kate who have dragged me up Bradgate park, endured a half marathon then been forced to eat my cake!! Couldn't of done it without you all...this is also for you xxxxx

Oh gosh the nerves are Kicking in...I have to mention big thanks again to my lovely chum Lucie who really is a rock when it comes to training...I'd be a lost soul without her xx

Hi. I've been lucky enough to get a place for the London Marathon 2012 so as my Nanna recently passed away from this terrible illness I thought it was only fitting to run in her memory. I'm hoping she will give me an extra push to get over the line (not to fall over)! I know of others who are also affected by Alzheimer's and thus this Marathon journey is also for them. Many thanks your encouragement will be with me all the way ... Xxx
