We fund research and provide support to children and adults affected by cancer

Story

Hi everyone.

On February 26th-27th, our team of UCC Neuroscientists, 'All About That Brain", will take to the track on the Mardyke Arena for 24 hours, in the annual Relay for Life for the Irish Cancer Society.

Our team is: Aideen, Andre, Bereniece, Caitriona, Cara, Ciaran, Erin, Gerry, James, Marc, Rachel, Sarah, Sean, Shane, Siobhain, Tom - plus junior members Sam, Ciara, Maeve, Niamh, Daniel and Jessica.

The Irish Cancer Society is a charity that provides amazing support and information for cancer patients and their families, which I personally experienced three years ago while having my treatment for lymphoma.

The Relay event has the motto "Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back!". It is held all over the world and the UCC event is the largest College-based Relay in Europe.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Please support us as we Celebrate the lives of people who have overcome or are battling cancer, Remember those who we have lost to cancer, and Fight Back against this disease.

Many thanks for your support,

Aideen
