Story
First and foremost thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
What am I doing?
I'm cycling the length of Britain, from Lands End to John O'Groats - 980 miles over 9 consecutive days at the peril of the British weather.
I've done one day 100 miles days events before, but nothing of this magnitude. This will definitely take me out of my comfort zone and challenge me both mentally and physically on a level that i've never seen before. I have to admit that I'm both excited and scared at the same time.
Why am I doing?
The first reason why I'm doing this challenge because I like cycling - at least until this point, after this we will see!
The second reason why i'm doing this, to demonstrate my children, in particular my eldest daughter, who has a very mild cerebral palsy disability, that if you work hard anything is possible. The sky is the limit.
We are extremely lucky that my daughter only has a very mild disability, which allows her to almost carry a perfect normal life. Unfortunately there are many children in this world that are not that lucky, and they and their families endure tougher times. That's why I wanted to take this opportunity to raise some funds for a charity who helps these families.
