The British Heart Foundation is such an important charity and one that is very close to my heart!  When I was born, it was discovered that I had a hole in my heart.  The consultant recommended that I should undergo pioneering surgery to fix me up and I had open heart surgery as a baby.  

They did indeed fix me up and, after years of follow up testing, I was told that my heart was fully functional and I could do anything any other kid would expect to be able to do.

So here I am training to run a marathon, something that would have been impossible had I not been looked after so well.  

I'd love to give something back and help a charity that supports families in a similar situation. I'll be extremely grateful for any money you feel able to sponsor me.
