Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and supporting my fundraising.

I completed the Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday 6 October, cheered on by my son Jacob, wife Vicky and mum and dad (and thousands of spectators). It was an incredible day, made even better as I finished in a PB of 1.41.07. Thank you to everyone who sponsored me and if you haven't already please give generously. My page can accept donations until the end of the year.

The Alzheimer's Society is Lloyds Banking Group's charity partner for 2013 and 2014 and I'm running as part of the Lloyds TSB team. All the money I raise will help to fund the Live Well campaign, the first UK wide dementia carers programme. The programme will give 9,000 carers the information and skills they need to help their loved one to live well with dementia. It's a scary statistic that one in three over 65s will develop dementia so this is something that will touch many of our lives.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
