Story
On May 15th I will walk 60km in support of the amazing work APCA UK is doing over in Africa.
This charity brings palliative support to thousands of people in Africa who are living with terminal illness. As there is little medical support available in this region, these people would otherwise be enduring months and years of increasing pain. Thankfully APCA has established a region-wide network to train and financially support local care givers, so that the terminally ill needn't suffer unneccesarily during their remaining time on this earth, and enabling them to continue caring for their families while they still can. Please help to support this crucial work, by sponsoring my hike.
I will begin walking at 8am and expect to finish at around 9pm (which is significantly earlier than Jess). The walk takes place amongst the hilly South Downs in Sussex and it is roughly the same distance as walking from Edinburgh to Glasgow. I'm really not a hiking type person either - I only bought walking boots last week for the purposes of this walk!
