Story
Aside from the side effects of cancer itself, chemo and radiotherapy are about as debilatating a form of treatment as you could ask to go through. Macmillan Cancer Support provides aid at pretty much every level of the process, from daily support and advice through to in-hospital volunteers, therapists and more.
So I'm raising money to put something back into a system that is very close to my heart. If you can spare a pound or two it would be massively appreciated.
If I hit my target I'll hopefully be going to Nepal in November for a week of hard mountain trekking, sleeping rough and hopefully not getting eaten by leeches.
If you decide to donate please remember to tick the 'Giftaid' box. As long as you're a UK taxpayer it doesn't cost you anything, and it means that the government have to dig into their warfund to add a little bit extra on to every donation.
The legal bamf: Each participant in the Nepal Trek must raise a minimum of £3400. At least 65% of this money will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support, the balance being spent on the costs of the participant's trip. 100% of any sum raised over £3400 will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support.
