On Sunday 3rd October, I am running the London Marathon to raise money for the Stroke Association.
The London Marathon has always been on my bucket list but after years of entering the Ballot with no luck - this year I finally bit the bullet and have pledged to run it on behalf of the Stroke Association.
It's a charity very close to my heart - who provided some very helpful advice and support when my dad suffered from a serious stroke a few weeks before his 60th Birthday. I knew very little about what to expect and had even less clue what we as a family should be doing but their guidance was invaluable.
If any of you lovely lot can afford to, I'd really appreciate any donations towards my efforts - to help raise vital funds for a very good cause (and to help make the pain of the Training - and there's been quite a lot - worth it).
Big thanks and love in advance xx
